The Broken Arm x Salomon Advanced Shelter CSWP

Paris-based boutique The Broken Arm teams up with Salomon advanced on a new model this year. They chose the Advanced Shelter CSWP — a shot that’s built to hold up under extreme cold weather environments. The shoe has a a fully waterproof-protected inner bootie and light insulation . It’s made over a welded construction to reduce the weight, but with the stability provided via its chassis system and rugged sole unit. There are two colorways available and you can purchase them via Salomon or The Broken Arm. The sneaker-boot hybrid retails for $183 USD.

Last season saw a slew of new Salomon models come as result of their on-going collaboration with 11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi. The new BBS Solomon features the return of the familiar Hi-Top Bamba 2 but also features something brand new in the Bamba 3. The unlikely pairing of aesthetics once again incorporates the technical feel of Salmon and the weathered industrial feel of BBS designs. In terms of detailing, each boot features a technical jersey and coated textile upper, a concealed zip-and-lace closure, a Contragrip rubber sole, and buffed leather trim.

The Broken Arm has put out sneakers with Salomon in the past and they are once again bringing a subtle olive-tinged model this year. The Shelter CS WP is a waterproof mid-height boot that offers a comfortable fit and with a contagrip rubber sole and Salomon’s lightweight advanced chassis, placed between the outsole and midsole which maximizes motion and stability. Another Boris Bidjan Saberi Salomon sneaker making the rounds is this unique take on their Speedcross model. The collaboration allows BBS to remix the standard shoe, with a new textile and mesh upper. Other details include a logo patch on a padded tongue and a padded collar for comfort.
