UNDERCOVER x Nike REACT Element 87 Colorways

Undercover is bringing out four new color ways of a new sneaker model called the Element 87. While the Gyakusou initiative has brought out new color ways of Nike models, it seems that Jun has been given even more creative freedom this time around. The react running sole is combined with a translucent t shell upper, exterior taping on the heel, an exposed lace collar, and trail-running style laces. All five color ways of the sneaker are expected to drop in Fall 2018, see all of them after the jump.

The label focuses on re-issues of classic Comme designs in a simple monochromatic color assortment.  A new collaboration with streetwear Nike giant features mens and womenswear, the capsule mixes Nike’s penchant for streetwear graphics and mixes them with CdG styling. The most captivating piece from the collection is the tech-friendly anorak and the track pants overlaid with a a pika-dot skirt design. ACRONYM dropped all three color ways of their collaborative Vapormax 2 Moc on their site today. The co-branded Nike shoe is the fourth collection of sneakers to date between the two brands. The collection features three color ways, two of which were just unveiled in today’s drop on the ACRNM website. The color ways are Sail / Dark Stucco / Cargo Khaki,  Black / Volt and Light Bone/ Light Bone / Volt (photos of which circulated widely online). Look for the sneakers to drop at Nike retailers on the following dates. The light bone color way of the sneaker drops March 24 and the other two color ways drop on May 15.

Nike even put out a spaghetti style western teaser vid staring John Mayer and Errolson which I’ve linked below

These are a bit of a hard cop as many sites are doing raffles on these including END , SNS, and SJS. More photos after the jump.

COMME des GARÇONS HOMME x Nike Air Max 180

The Nike Air Max 180 is a classic model that hasn’t gotten much attention in recent years. That’s about to change now with this COMME des GARCONS HOMME version which first appeared at last season’s Paris Fashion week. Official images of the sneaker have not been released and they are heavy on the pink. While not to everyone’s taste these will fit in with well with any full Comme fit. In total there are three variations on the sneaker.

All three color ways are now available at SSENSE.

Air Max 98 Tour Yellow & Gundam

Nike made a splash with the return of the Air Max 98 in 2016. The release of OG color ways as well as three colors for the collab they did with Supreme showed that there was a market out there for faithful recreations of the shoe. Now in 2018, Nike is releasing two great colors in celebration of the shoe’s 20th anniversary. First off is the tour yellow version pictured above and a bright blue/red released nicknamed “Gundam” which you can see after the jump. These look like they’ve kept true to the originals in terms of materials and should appeal to the segment of their consumer base who prefers faithful recreations to new iterations on the style using modern tech. I’m all for the 98 coming back and it’s looking like this year will net even more versions of the sneaker later in the year. Look for both these sneakers to drop at Nike retailers after Jan 17.

Nike Vapormax 2.0 Preview

The Vapormax was certainly one of the most popular new sneakers in 2017. After releasing the shoe in nearly every color way possible, Nike is able to move on and update the sneaker with a version 2.0 model.  An early preview reveals a black color way with a clear sole as we’ll as a tan … Read more

Nike Vapormax Plus TN

The Air Max TN is one of my all-time favorite Nikes and I’m really looking forward to Nike’s latest hybrid based on the sneaker. It’s paired this time with a Vapormax sole which ends up as a surprisingly good match for the upper. The upper has been styled in the look of an Air Max Plus, but it’s been remixed with modern materials and production tech. It’s rumored that these will release next year around Air Max day but there’s already plenty of leaks in terms of what we can expect in terms of color ways. Some of the models dropping include a triple black and triple white version, cool grey, as well as a multi-colored gradient version. My personal favorites might be the above Olive color way that gives off a slimy-looking iridescent green. These are certainly already on my radar and a pretty much a must-cop for me. Look for them to drop at Nike Lab retailers next year and click through for more photos.

Update – END has announced that they are releasing the triple black color way of these on Jan 25, so look for them to appear at other Nike retailers around that date as well.
