The Seoul based contemporary label Liful releases their Fall/Winter 2014 editorial entitled ‘minimal day’. The clean looks presented feature the brands outerwear pieces prominently, featuring a muted color palette of grey, burgundy and gold. The line’s pieces cover most menswear essentials at a reasonable price point. You can shop the items direct through their webshop or on the Hypebeast store.
Menswear label SECOND/LAYER brightens up it’s gothninja fundamentals with this striking LA based editorial. The shoot captures the freedom of west coast of living and is smartly styled using pieces from H.Lorenzo Fall/Winter brand line-up which includes the likes of Undercover, Haider Ackermann and COMME des GARCONS Homme Plus. I really liked the feel of this editorial and how it modernizes the trademark elements of skate culture, grung and punk-rock in a relatable setting.

Slam Jam Socialism is a stalwart online shop which has been peddling upper echelon streetwear for many years now. The Italian based retailers shot one of the best store editorials of the season with ‘In the Cold Night’. Berlin based menswear purveyors Soto released a short lookbook using essentials from the FW14 Raf Simons collection. The colorful shoot captures pieces from the season in motion including the khaki trench which is my favorite item from Raf in some time.

Japanese web magazine Honeyee put together a little editorial featuring pieces from C.E’s Fall/Winter 2014 collection. The site recently began it’s own webstore ‘Just like Honeyee‘ which stocks a mix of brands from Undercover to Uniform Experiment and Jam Home Made.

Nepenthes puts together an outdoor themed editorial styled with key items from a wide range of Fall/Winter 2014 collections. After a brief quiet spell, EYES & SINS returns with an immaculate outerwear line ‘PROTOTYPE-ZERO / 零式’.
The small range is a logical evolution from the graphic tees released in the past. The line once again draws inspiration from military items, utilizing details such as buckles/fasteners and multifunctional compartments that contribute to both the form and functionality of the garments.
This is an impressive first foray into more elaborate items from the GFIRMG family. The 「14F-ES-JM01」RE-REPRODUCTION 01 BOMBER (see the Third Looks Best MA-1 Feature) has some great details including Articular sleeves, darting/stitching details and numberous functional zippers and pockets that should help users carry around daily essentials. Also of note is the 「14F-ES-AV01」ENGRAM MULTI-CHAMBER
which operates as a vest with multiple Pockets / compartments.
Three of the items are available now online with more to drop soon. Looking forward to seeing more on the trench and pants in the collection personally. I’m excited to see the GFIRMG team transition from leather goods to graphic tees and now a full fledged cohesive collection.

Japanese menswear specialists Beauty & Youth serves up a timely Fall/Winter 2014 lookbook entitled ‘Find your Outerwear’. True to it’s name of the images focus around key jackets and coats from the range. The styling is well executed with a laid back nondescript feel. If you’re ready to step up from A.P.C wearing masses Beauty & Youth features a wide enough product assortment that you should be able to find things that work with what you own. Some of the most interesting items are the suede motorcyclce jacket and the collaborative Canada Goose Parka more after the jump or head over to zozotown to shop the current season.
The highly anticipated Holiday season from Gyakusou has been trickling into stores over the past day. It’s now available online at Nike, Très Bien, Oki-Ni and Firmament Berlin and should be available at Nike Lab locations worldwide today. Just because you still struggle to pronounce Gyakusou, doesn’t mean you won’t be able to get it online.
