AVI-8 was established in 2012 with the goal of creating timepieces that reflect the history of aviation. AVI-8 works with pilots and engineers who served in various Air Forces around the world to create products that bring authentic military detailing . One of my favorites from the line is this classic chronograph which has an aesthetic based around what might arguably be the most iconic plane from the WW2 era, the Hawker Hurricane . Anyone who’s seen that aircraft in the history books or movies will recognize the clean, bold lines which surround the dial on on the watch. The colors and graphics also celebrate the fighter plane’s unique presence.
This Hawker Hurricane watch has a classic chronograph design and is constructed with stainless steel and strapped with a genuine hand-stitched grey leather strap.
