Shopping for a watch can be a unique challenge especially when you’re trying to keep within a budget. There’s countless options on the market but one brand to take note of should be Nordgreen. Based in Copenhagen, the brand uses a minimalistic design language that reflects its geographic origins. The Danish company offers up a selection of timepieces at a pricepoint that won’t break the bank.
My favorite design from the brand has to be the Pioneer , which is a medium sized (42mm) chronograph design that uses Japanese quartz movement. While I’m partial to the silver mesh strap , I do like the option of removable straps which drastically change the look and feel of the design. The NATO style green canvas and 3-link options are close runner ups. Nordgreen has also pledged to give back to worthy causes worldwide through their “Giving Back Program” as well as to being accountable to certain sustainability standards.
Prices for the Pioneer comes in 3 colors (black, white and rose gold ) and starts at $299USD depending on the strap option and are available to order online .
