Wacko Maria is one of my favorite streetwear labels out of Japan and their latest capsule collection pays homage to musicĀ legend Lee Scratch Perry. One of the pioneers of dub , Lee “Scratch” Perry has worked with a who’s who of artists from Bob Marley to TheĀ Beastie Boys. The collection takes graphics from Perry’s album artwork and throws them on everything from tees to short sleeves. While many collabs end up being a simple co-branding exercise but capsule channels the energy of Lee Perry’s musical legacy. Look out for the pieces available through Japanese Wacko Maria stockists and online boutiques like END.
